Save the Date!

The save the dates are finished and have been sent off! I am so happy with the way they turned out... Sure it took a little longer to draw everything out by myself but it was worth it. In the end they came out to be really affordable too! Bonus!

I wish I could have used my cute vintage stamps on them (like the picture) but, alas, I didn't leave myself enough room for fifteen stamps. Oh well, more for the invites! :)

Fair Isle

I have been asked to work on some Fair Isle designs this year for Taylor Linens and I am so excited about it! We will start out with more light, spring colored designs in duvets and accessories but I'm already dreaming of how it can translate into fall... ahh so amazing.

It's vintage and classic but just funky enough to keep it fresh. Frankly I don't know why we didn't do it before!

Now I just need to figure out how to design our own Fair Isle pattern, but I feel up to the challenge. This is going to be fun. :)

Hmm... that picture at the top is inspiring me to buy Brad a Fair Isle Vest!

Time to Buckle Down.

Decorations have been put up and taken down... presents have been wrapped, unwrapped, and put away... meals have been cooked and consumed... carols have been sung... friends and family have come and gone... the Holidays are officially over.

We had so much fun this year. I don't think I've ever bounced around from party to party like we did this year. Maybe the busiest Christmas season I can remember but so worth it.

There was a lot of crafting of presents this year. I crocheted Scott and Heidi a pillow, Kirstie made a sock animal for Brad (he named him Rupert), I embroidered a pillow for mom, Heidi knit a scarf for Brad, Kirstie painted one bird for Mom and one for Scott and Heidi. So much fun.

I loved having Brad's family out here and being able to share a bit of our Christmas traditions with them. Mike and Rudy are such special people and I feel so blessed to be a part of their family. We even went geocaching with them in Old Town Temecula! Hah!

Kirstie and I both got a little sick... but we were well taken care of. That's me all bundled up with a sleeping bag. I think I've finally learned my lesson about pulling all-nighters.

Lots of fun. I love family. :)

So. Now it's time to focus! Enough with the fun and games! Brad and I have a little over three months left before the wedding and there is still SO much to be done. But we have lots of good ideas and I can't wait to get cracking!
